aborted try to hitchhike till Poland...
Trucks were not going further enough (only north of slovakia), and alone, I didnt want to try, I aimed directly  to reach cities in the polish border to take a train untill Gdansk. But actually, it was quite funny, I was speaking to truck drivers opposite the road who were waiting to pass the border and I also met two frenchs people in erasmus in Budapest. they were coming from Ukrainia and moldavia and were trying to come back in budapest by hitchhike! really funny cause we started to speak in english first, untill we realised we were both french... :D

coming soon >>>> ROUND 2 !!!!!!!!!!!!!

trip with Amandine! (still transylvania) - fin devrier

coming soon... (more or less)

We left on saturday evening, In the train station we met this guy, coming from Kosovo (the new country you know!! :D ). He studied in Usa and was speaking perfect english, nice guy but he wasnt going in the same way like us :S ----Bracket----

then two noisy Romano-Hungarian teenagers in our compartment....

Arriving at 1h40 in the night at Sighisoara. walking around untill we found the hostel we reserved (in the citadel); nice place by the way, we internet and a kind of bar in a ceillar downstairs.

We visited the city on sunday and we also rent a car through two guys looking like being in the mafia! :S :D

Finally everything was ok and anyway this guys were in our guide book, we used the car to visit eastern country side around Sighisoara to try to visit Viscri but the road was soooo crap!! so we just went to a castle in Rupea!

Monday>> on the road again... (i was driving sometimes) for Biertan! passing through copsa mare (for the church) and then I drove to Sibiu. Arrival on Sibiu's suburbs, awful... loads of ugly buildings, industrial areas... certainly not what made this city being the European capital of culture 2007...

but after a couple of Kilometers, a very nice downtown appeared to us!

Trip Bucarest - Brasov

we decided last week to go in Bucarest! Two erasmus are now there to work (coralie and cristopher) so we decided to surprise them! coming without telling them, and we called when we arrived in the railway station, actually it was a bit "dangerous" but they were here!

We left on friday afternoon at 19h, spent 12hours of train to bucarest, very very very long ! but we did a party in the train so it was better!

with London, it's the second European capital I visit in One week! yeah!!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

On the way back from Brasov...
partying in the train, as long as possible to waste time! sleeping in this kind of train is really hard!
and actually we had some problems with the ticket. we were supposed to have a discount price because we are student, but in the student book of some of us (not me OBVIOUSLY :D) it was written 2007 (then supposed not to be available...), so first they didnt want to give us ticket with discount, but for example one of the saleswoman just gave my friend a pen for her to change the 2007 into 2008.... and after it was ok... (romania is sometimes a strange country... sometimes flexible, sometimes not... ) we finaly managed to get the ticket, the girls changing the year and gregory who had no student book get his one thanks to me...

BUT, this is TOO EASY! gregory "HAD TO" loose his ticket before entering in the train !!!!! lol
then he realised it after the train started.... big mess.... searching everywhere.... searching some solutions...
soooo we called the controller, tryed to managed to get a new ticket without paying nothing! but the funny part is that because gregory didnt have all the papers for the discount, I gave him MY TICKET, and had to argue with the controller (saying that I lost my ticket taking out my mobile phone blah blah blah blah), who of course didnt want to give me a new ticket... instead of that, He nicely proposed me fist to pay a new one for 85lei (22euros) OR to have a penalty and pay 195lei (52euros)

Thanks to my passport everything finished well, because there was only my french adress on it, and we were so boring (like "no money" 30times per minutes, "STUDENTTTT STUDENNNTTT" 20times and "my passport is very important, you're not gonna take it with you!!" only one time, after he gave up) that he decided not to do anything and let it go, (the second controler later was more flexible, we just explained the problem and she said "ok", in one minute, it was solved...)

meanwhile, there were also some problems in our part of train, we saw later the police passing and some guys with handcuffs :S
maybe it helped us a bit not to have more problem than there were already in the train!

we finaly arrived safe in oradea, around 7in the morning, and slep intill middle of the afternoon!!
well... a very very nice trip!!
(now I have to write all of this in french... tell me good luck!!)

thanks for tryin' to read till the end!
the story we had was a bit confusing, so the way I told it was as well!

our Hitch hiking trip in Budapest, the Best ever!!!

Oh gosh!! this trip is in the top 3 of our nicest trips and parties!!!
the experience to Hitch hike abroad was a very good idea from our friends from poland (who are confirmed hitch hikers and really good travellers! :D)
we spent from fryday afternoon to sunday in budapest (I mean it was that we were supposed to do but me and my pair Martyna had some "problems" for the come back, I mean we didn't find any car, nobody stopped for us, so we spent one more day there and came back by minibus, by the way, because we were the first "team" arriving on friday, we had the longest trip! "nananananère!")

to introduce you this quickly, we took a taxi from Oradea to the border (only 5 or 10 km and 30lei of taxi, so a little bit less than 10euros, not so expensive and almost necessary because romanian people often ask for monney to hitch hikers, so that's why..)

almost all the teams found a car during the first or the second hour (we were 4 teams of 2 persons, with each time one boy and one girl) and with only one car we were at budapest in few hours. Anyway one of our polish friend prepared for us 4pages of maps, essentials informations and all what we needed for this trip;
we booked for a Hostel in the center of budapest, you know, the kind of hostel which is especially for young peoples, we payed about 7euro for each night, sooooo if you know cheaper, let me know it!! lol

for the rest, just watch the photos. and if you find that it is not a really nice city, just come and take a look. I was really impressed by everything in the city, so beautiful, so nice climate, so enormous! and because almost all the nice building are lighten up during the night, it's also very nice to visit after 4 o'clock (yep during the winter and because budapest is at the top east of the time zone, the sunset is very very very early! :S)

Just watch:

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

now our trip in "chouncouyouch" (this is the pronounciation...)

something like one week after, we planed a trip in some caves close to Oradea, 54km exactly but 1h30 maybe more to go there, trains in romania are very slow... I won't make a lot of part for this topic, just will introduce you this with some photos, no more!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
